Tears of Joy, a series of mixed-media works, captures Yoshie’s recent realisation through instinctive colour choices, ink drawing, and a hint of metal leaf. She has found that, after many emotional experiences, her tears of joy now outnumber those of sadness. During her regular dog walks on the hill — through sun, cloud, rain, snow, and wind — nature encouraged her to pause and reflect on this grateful shift in perception.
