This piece is part of my unique collection of paper-cutting art, created using exquisite gilded metal leaf paper, meticulously hand-pressed by skilled artisans in Hiroshima, Japan. Their craftsmanship imbues the paper with a one-of-a-kind texture and timeless quality, enhancing the artwork.
Inspired by my enduring fascination with the shapes and shadows of nature, this piece depicts ghostly rabbits and moon, reflecting a harmonious blend of artistry and tradition.
During the creation process, I delicately cut out numerous motifs, each one so charming that I decided to use every inch of available space. As you draw closer to the artwork, I hope you’ll delight in discovering these elusive, floating rabbits hidden in plain sight!

This artwork utilises metal foil (gold brass leaf), which may discolour or corrode over time due to factors such as moisture, perspiration, ultraviolet rays, and environmental substances.
