This bird doll is made with indigo-dyed martial arts uniforms (aizome dōgi: 藍染道着) and sakabukuro (酒袋) fabric offcuts from Japan. Hand-embroidered initials in shiny gold metallic thread, combined with vibrant, free-form stitching in multi-coloured cotton threads, give this bird a playful yet mature look.

Each doll comes with a satin label on the back, featuring the artist’s signature and year of creation.

Name — For the handwritten name on the paper tag. Leave blank if not required.
